Editionnotes: In two parts, the first covering Books 1-3, the second Books 4-6 Second part also contains "Two cantos of mutabilitie" with running title: The seventh booke of the faerie queene: p. 353-363 Signatures: A-P⁶ Q⁴ R-2H⁶ Text in double columns P.8, 32 misnumbered 10, 23 Printer's name from STC This edition was usually issued in combination with printings of Spenser's other works to make-up a folio collection of his works. Cf. STC, Johnson This is a mixed sheet copy containing predominately material from the 1613-1617 printing of part 1, and the 1612-1613 printing of part 2 (STC 23084), but also contains individual sheets of the original 1609 printing of part 1 (STC 223083). Cf. Johnson for details of the printing of the various editions. Leaves A2,5, Q1-4 from the 1609 printing. The 1609 printing had quire Q in 6 leaves, with Q5 and Q6 being the t.p. and first leaf of text of part 2; these were ommitted in the later printings as the t.p. of part 2 was printed on R1.
